The Civil Parish of Swine in the East Riding of Yorkshire,  covers the village of Swine and the  hamlet of Beningholme.

It sits in the ward of Mid Holderness


According to the 2021 census there were 138 residents

Bus Shelter

 

The bus shelter in Swine is located at the three-way junction of Main St, Coniston Lane and Dancing Lane, and is owned & managed by the Parish council.   No buses currently come through Swine, but the school bus is scheduled to start running again soon, and the shelter is regularly used by walkers and cyclists as a place to take a break.

Salt Bins

All  the salt bins in Swine have been removed from the ERYC maintenance schedule and are now maintained and managed by Swine Parish Council. If one of these requires refilling or maintenance please report it to the Parish Council to process.  Salt bin numbers can be found inside the lid.
